WICHITA

The group didn't see Eve leave the bomb shelter. She wanted it that way. I wonder if John killed some of them? She changed up her route just in case they got lucky. Instead of going north, she went west.

All fine with me wherever I go as long as I can find something fun to do. What would she find out west? Perhaps more people to kill.

Eve drove through the back roads with something nagging at the back of her mind. She was able to fully convince John with her lies, but the other people of the group, somehow, never trusted her. Especially the blind man named Wyatt. They probably wouldn't have hurt her, but he wanted to kill her. Even blind, he had found her on his road to vengeance. I should be more careful and not assume my talents are without flaws. Though, I am superior in all ways.

Something told her they all had survived her zombie. She wasn't happy about having to sacrifice John, but Wyatt had turned the rest of the group against her. The distraction had been the best way to slip out of the bomb shelter undetected.

There would be a time to get them all. Sooner or later they'll fall into my trap. There was no doubt in her mind that Wyatt would be on her trail again. When that time came, she would be ready with something to greet him and his friends.

The weather was doing some heavy-duty storming when Eve arrived at the outskirts of Wichita, Kansas. It rained so hard she decided to stop the car and wait for a while. There was no chance of another vehicle running into her. She just didn't want to accidentally run into something herself. The lightning that flashed had an eerie glow to it. There was some kind of green hue that she had never seen before. So surreal and beautifully wicked.

She had always loved storms. The doctors actually let her experience one all day until she fell asleep. Again, as that time before, it wouldn't be long before she drifted off to sleep, soothed by a turbulent lullaby.

It was at that moment a strong wind hit with a roaring sound could be heard for miles. The violent chorus similar to the sound of a derailed train and its cars crashing against each other. Debris flew everywhere while trees snapped and all things were hurled through the air.

Uh oh, this is a bad situation. There was nothing she could do when the HHR flipped off the road and tumbled through a field.

Eve was ejected from the car and went flying to the ground. She sprawled out like a rag doll half in a pool of mud and half out. The tornado moved away toward Wichita where it continued its path of destruction.

She passed out lying there. Is this the end already? When she next opened her eyes, the storm had passed on and the tornado had spent its fury.

Eve fell back to the ground several times before gaining her footing.
